Procurement Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Procurement Assistant. UK Circuits has seen consistent year on year growth and now require an organised person  who is keen to develop their knowledge and experience and has a genuine interest in purchasing.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and you will need to have the ability to express yourself clearly and conciseley, as well as being a team player.

You will report to the Buyers with the day to day purchasing of raw materials and in-directs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sending purchase orders to suppliers
• Order book management
• Updating the team about any delays or problems with suppliers
• Management of consumable orders
• Answering the telephone
• Administrative tasks

Experience:

• Purchasing experience will be advantageous
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced office environment
• Computer literate and have experience of using the Microsoft Office suite
• Self motivated, methodical and organised
• Good commnication skills via email and telephone
• Team player
• Excellent attention to detail
